Join Us for a Spiritual Feast
At St.
George's, we have four different
worship services (two on Saturday
and two on Sunday) each meeting
participants' spiritual hunger at
the same table—but with a different
banquet. Explore
our service offerings, select the
one that suits your worship style,
then come join the feast.
|
Saturday 5:00 p.m.
A
quiet, contemplative service,
typically celebrated without
music. Participants follow the
Book of Common Prayer, Rite II,
which expresses communal prayer
in contemporary language. As a
special feature to this service,
worshippers are invited to
participate in a healing service
(including the laying on of
hands) every first and third
Saturday of the month. Come join
an intimate gathering of
Christians engaged in peaceful
celebration every Saturday
evening.

Cornerstone
Saturday 6:30 p.m.
Each Cornerstone
service is inspired by a theme,
and each theme is explored in a
variety of ways:
prayers/reflections from
Anglican sources, Gospel
readings, informal sermons,
theatrical skits. Let your soul
be stirred each week by new
reflections on age-old topics.

|
Sunday 8:00 a.m.
A service steeped in custom
where communal prayer is
expressed in traditional
language (following the Book of
Common Prayer, Rite I). This
early Sunday liturgy,
embellished with organ music,
provides plenty of opportunity
for quiet reflection. Come join
other early risers greeting the
Lord's Day in a time-honored
form of celebration.
|
Sunday 10:30 a.m.
A vibrant, family-oriented
service where worshippers raise
their voices to God in song as
well as contemporary prayer
(following the Book of Common
Prayer, Rite II). By far our
largest gathering, this service
brings us together for a lively
celebration of faith. Come join
the congregation and the
St.
George's choir in
worship, then adjourn to the
parish hall for post-service
refreshments and fellowship.
