My first visit to
St. George’s was Christmas Eve 1974.
I was baptized, confirmed, and married
here. I have been involved in many
activities/committees over the years
–Choir, ECW Secretary, Kitchen Keeper,
Outreach, Search Committee, Rummage Sale
Coordinator, Youth Advisor, Logos,
Sunday School, VBS. I have also
been a staff member – Youth Minister
1989 – 1994, and Nursery Care Provider
2003 – 2007. Needless to say St.
George’s has been a very important part
of my life! In this position I
look forward to seeing St. George’s
become a “second home” to everyone in
our parish family. A place to come and
celebrate the Good News, reach out to
those who haven’t heard it, and remind
those who need reminding they are God’s
cherished children and have a place here
– always!
My family includes
my wonderful husband, Ken, and two
amazing daughters, Sarah (who lives in
Phoenix), and Hannah.
Other
jobs/interests: I am an EMT at
Splash Moraine, and a Lifeguard/Swim
Instructor at Kids are Tops Sports
Center. I also volunteer as an
Instructor Trainer for the American Red
Cross.
