St. George's Vacation Bible
School
is over for this year, but you
can look forward to another
great program in 2009.
This is
what we did in 2008:
"The Pirates Who Don't
Do Anything" actually had
many adventures, including:
rock-solid Bible learning rodes
the high seas of adventure
through breathtaking Bible
stories, lively worship,
action-packed games, amazing
science experiences that
reinforced Bible truth, and
memory-making crafts kids will
treasure for years to come.
Theme Verse:
"I can do all things through
Christ because he gives me
strength." Philippians 4:13
Through five
days of exciting site-based
Bible exploration, kids
experienced the stories of Bible
heroes and, through
multi-sensory activities, became
involved in their own quest to
be heroes for God. Nothing was
wasted. Every activity, every
game, every craft was designed to
reinforce the Bible teaching,
Bible theme, or scripture.
We had a
special, all church picnic to
end our awesome week on Friday
July 4th, then we all went to see
fireworks!!!
